Otto Liipfert (1870 - 1933) was born in Clarksville, Virginia.  He married Carrie Transou.  Here they are with their two sons,  Otto Edworth Liipfert (1914- 2006), who lived in Winston Salem, and Eugene Transou Liipfert (1918-2000), who was an attorney in Washington, DC.
